also an Adjunct Professor in Cardiovascular Research Group at Oulu University Hospital, University of Oulu, Finland, with the background on physical therapy, exercise physiology and biomechanics, Dr Hautala also conducts many of his research on areas of exercise training on aging adults and rehabilitation.

Introduction:
Many of us are impacted by COVID-19 in both our daily practice and personal lives. We wish to express our strong solidarity and commitment to supporting you in your work with older adults and individuals with chronic health conditions who are at higher risk for COVID-19.
Learning Objectives:

Know the consequences of physical inactivity induced by home isolation on cardiometabolic health and the benefits of regular physical activity and exercise training on various health outcomes
